Panhandle ISD is excited to announce the launch of our new website. The new website aims to be an area where communications events and recognitions are streamlined and celebrated. This will increase functionality and allow teachers to post about events happening in their classrooms, athletic events and extracurricular events. The platform will also integrate with Facebook and X so that messages are consistent across our website and social media. The website will host links for other valuable information in the title menu such as: help me app, district calendar, as well as panther ticket sales. Each campus will have their homepage and the faculty page will allow parents to have contact with their student’s teacher. Another functionality of Apptegy is a custom Panhandle ISD app put out through Apple and android so that users can have this information at the tip of their fingers our personalized app. Construction of the app is still underway but will be available soon.
“Utilizing our new website and coming app with Apptegy is a tremendous opportunity to keep all of our stakeholders informed at a moments notice either through social media, phone alerts, or texts. The new website also allows us to post live or recorded video messages and opens the pathway for teachers to share student successes in their classroom. It will revolutionize the traffic that comes to the PISD website and build value for our stakeholders. It also allows each campus to be consistent in our messaging which reinforces the Panther brand. This is an exciting time and I’m proud of the team of administrators that have worked hard to build the platform,” Dr. John Sherrill, Superintendent, shared recently regarding the change in website.
The website went live on September 27.
