PROPOSED TAX RATE
Panhandle ISD has scheduled a Public Meeting to discuss the Budget and Proposed Tax Rate.
ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE-BOUND STUDENTS
Passage of Senate Bill 1107, 82nd Texas Legislature, Regular Session, requires ALL entering students at Texas institutions of higher education to be vaccinated against Bacterial Meningitis within the last five years and at least 10 days prior to the first day of class. This vaccine requirement is for all college-bound students.
Olweus Bullying Program to be implemented for the 2012-13 school year!
In the fall, Panhandle ISD will begin a bullying program designed by Dan Olweus. A committee is currently in place working on the details of how the program will be used district-wide. This program is designed for all students, is both preventative and responsive, is research-based, and focuses on changing norms within the school setting. Of course, students will be involved, as well as parents and the community as a whole.
