PROUD OF THE PAST
FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE
Academic Excellence IS the top priority of all stakeholders in the Panhandle ISD. We are proud to be a "Recognized" district with a "Recognized" high school, a "Recognized" Jr. High, and an "Exemplary" elementary school. In addition to academic excellence, we also strive to excel in all our other programs.
We are proud to live in a progressive community like Panhandle. The town slogan is “People of Pride and Purpose.” Likewise, we are proud to attend Panhandle ISD. High expectations are set for each of the 855 Panthers who make up the students, faculty, and staff of the Panhandle Independent School District.
Panhandle ISD Belief Statement:
Belief Statement taken from “Whatever it Takes” by Richard Dufour
We believe that all students can and must learn at relatively high levels of achievement. We are confident that students can master challenging academic material with our support and help. We establish standards all students are expected to achieve, and we continue to work with them until they have done so.
"IT IS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS"
"IT IS ABOUT ALL THE KIDS"
All decisions, made by stakeholders of the district, will be made considering one question. “Is this what is best for the kids?”
I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Panhandle ISD website. I hope you find helpful, as well as entertaining, information on our website. It is our goal to help our students become worthwhile, productive, citizens in our society.
If you are a Panhandle High School graduate, please check out the alumni page. We would love to hear from you.
